Quiet words

Nights, in their own words.

On neck support and how it actually feels to sleep on — nothing else. And whatever happens after yours arrives, you've got 60 nights to decide if it's right for you.

We're brand new — no reviews yet. Your 60-night trial is the real guarantee.

The world is loud. Your days move fast. Shouldn't your nights slow down?

The difference

Still sleeping on an ordinary pillow?

The quiet math

An investment, not a purchase.

A pillow is the least expensive thing in your bedroom — and the one your neck leans on for a third of your life. Isn't that the one thing worth not cutting corners on? Here is what the alternative costs Americans.

Why Nottera exists

A pillow was never the whole point.

We started Nottera to fix one thing: how badly most people sleep. The pillow is where we began — but every Sunday we publish research-backed notes on sleep in the Nottera Journal, because a better night shouldn't depend on what you happen to buy from us.

A note from our founder

I've always understood what a good night is worth.

Sleep was never a trend to me — it's something I've paid close attention to for as long as I can remember, long before it had a hashtag. I started Nottera because I wanted to turn that attention into something useful for other people, not just a better pillow.

My goal is to make sleep science easy to actually use — a few honest minutes a day, not another feed to scroll through. That's why the Journal exists, and why it will keep growing alongside everything else we make.

Nottera will keep evolving with what our customers actually need — new products, new research, new ways to sleep better — starting here in the U.S., where sleep quietly shapes next-day performance, mental health, creativity, and even long-term cardiovascular and immune health far more than most people realize.1 The pillow was the beginning. Helping people sleep better, at scale, is the point.

The Nottera Pillow

Which sleeping positions does it support?

All of them. The wave contour cradles side sleepers, supports back sleepers, and stays low and soft for stomach sleepers. It adapts to you — you don't have to adapt to it.

Is it firm or soft?

One universal feel: a medium-firm adaptive memory foam at roughly 48D density — dense enough to hold its shape night after night, soft enough to cradle your head and neck under warmth and weight, then spring back by morning.

Will it fit my body and height?

Yes. Each size has two loft heights, so you can do the Phase Flip — turn the pillow over to change how it sits under your neck. Crescent runs 10cm on the high side and 7cm on the low side; Eclipse runs 12cm and 10cm. Broad-shouldered and side sleepers tend to prefer the higher side of whichever size they have; a flatter, closer feel comes from the lower side.

Does it sleep hot?

No. The open-cell memory foam and the knitted cover — a breathable 95% polyester / 5% spandex blend at 320g/m² — move air instead of trapping it, so it stays cooler than dense, traditional memory foam through the night.

How much does the pillow weigh?

Crescent (standard) weighs 0.55kg; Eclipse (oversized) weighs 0.9kg. That weight comes from real foam density, not filler — light enough to travel with, substantial enough to hold its shape.

How long does it take to adjust?

Most people feel the difference the first night. Give your body up to a week to fully settle into the new alignment.

How do I care for the pillow?

Simple. The knitted cover unzips and is machine washable cold — air-dry it and it comes back softer. Never machine-wash or soak the foam core; spot-clean it and let it air out, away from direct sun.

Pillowcases

What is the pillowcase made of?

A cooling ice-silk weave — smooth and silky against skin and hair, cool to the touch, and gentle enough for everyday use at a friendly price.

Is it better for my skin and hair than cotton?

Yes — far kinder than cotton. Less friction means fewer creases, less frizz, and less moisture drawn from your skin overnight.

Will the pillowcase fit my pillow?

Each case is cut to fit the ergonomic contour of the Nottera Pillow. Choose the size that matches your pillow — Crescent (standard) or Eclipse (oversized) — and it slips on with a clean, hidden closure.

How do I care for the pillowcase?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours, then tumble low or line dry. No bleach. It stays smooth and cool wash after wash.

Why buy a pillowcase on its own?

Because the case is the part that touches your skin and hair every night — it's the piece worth upgrading, and the easiest way to refresh your bed. Buy one alone, collect a few colours, or add one to your pillow as a set.

Orders, shipping & returns

When will my order arrive?

Every order is prepared and quality-checked before it leaves us, then delivered within 7–14 days — fully tracked, so you can follow it the whole way.

How does it arrive?

Compact, in quiet recyclable packaging. Take it out, let it breathe and fully expand for a few hours, and it's ready for its first night.

Where do you ship, and is it free?

We ship across the United States, fully tracked, in 7–14 days. Shipping is free on every pillow, no minimum. Pillowcases ship free on orders over $65.

Do I get the free Sleep Guide?

Yes — the digital Nottera Sleep Guide is included free with every order over $100, delivered to your inbox. Science-backed habits for deeper, faster sleep.

What if it isn't for me?

You get 60 nights to actually find out — not a five-minute test in a showroom. If it isn't right by then, return it for a full refund, no questions asked; returned pillows are donated, not resold. Pillowcases follow our standard 30-day policy for unopened items, for hygiene reasons. Anything that arrives damaged or faulty, we always make right.
